Copywriter’s Cool Tool - Emotional Marketing Value Headline Analyzer
By Roberta Rosenberg on Aug 1, 2007 in DM Copy Tips & Tools
Okay, before I go jumping back into the teaching/writing waters today …
I found mention of this free and nifty online tool at The Advertising Moms Blog. Developed by the Advanced Marketing Institute (that’s a high-falutin’ name, ain’t it?), the deal behind the Emotional Marketing Value Headline Analyzer is that it will analyze your headline (up to 20 words worth) to determine its the Emotional Marketing Value (EMV) score. In addition to the EMV score, you’ll find out which dominant emotion your headline targets: Intellectual, Empathetic or Spiritual.
Should it take the place of your talent and expertise? Nah. But it might be fun to run a few test headlines you’re working on to see how they score.
