W-W-Wow! Introducing the W List, Celebrating Women Bloggers
By Roberta Rosenberg on Aug 13, 2007 in Occasional Rantings, Promoting Your Biz
A few days ago, I mentioned having made the Top 20 Power Women list and blogged about the disparate ratio of recognized women bloggers vs the guys. While not every blogger wants or need to be recognized per se, being acknowledged for excellence is always welcome.
The W List represents just that, acknowledgment from peers - male and female - about a job well done. Make some time to visit each and every one. I promise the rewards will be bountiful and satisfying. (I’m also taking a few days off to enjoy my family who generally only see the back of my head most of the day. See you when I get back!)

Roberta, you have put a maven-ish touch on the W list! Thank you for including Flooring The Consumer in such august company… and I wish you a wonderful time with family.

Have a great time off, Roberta. I finally added you to my blog roll. Better late than ever, I guess. You are right, W is for Wow.

I am constantly amazed at what great content is out on the web. Although I subscribe to many of the above and have been lucky enough to interview some people on the podcast, I have now found many other gems! Fantastic!
Have a great holiday - enjoy the break and let’s hope this list keeps highlighting the female talent.

Enjoy some well deserved time off.
And thanks for continuing the conversation about the W-list. I’m still surprised at the ratios of men/women bloggers in our categories…

Hi Roberta–
Thanks for continuing to spread the word. Even better than being listed is discovering the incredible wealth of blog treasure that’s out there…
All the best,
Lyn

What a great list! I’ve actually been looking into interviewing female webmasters (including bloggers) over at http://ChickTech.net. I have a “best women webmasters” nomination form there as well. If you’re particularly fond of any of these female bloggers, be sure to nominate them.

Roberta, thanks so much for spreading the W-List and sharing the links to so many great blogs. I’m loving the great bloggers I’m finding “out there” and very excited to be included on the list.
Be well!
