Happy 2008 from Two Massapequa Kids

I was born and grew up in Massapequa, LI. Alec Baldwin, too, is a Massapequa boy. (So is Jerry Seinfeld but he hates Massapequa. Ask anybody.)
In honor of the holiday — and because I’ve been on deadlines for days — here’s one of my favorite Friends episodes. Alec is a Phoebe’s boyfriend and they’re all going to Massapequa for a party.

Ahh Massapequa. I wasn’t raised there, but not too far away. Franklin Square was the town I called home for most of my growing up years and my family has since moved to Rockville Centre.
