Big Apple Bound! Blogger Social ‘08 is about to begin!
By Roberta Rosenberg on Apr 3, 2008 in DM Copy Tips & Tools, Occasional Rantings

I’m taking a few precious days off from work and family to network and enjoy some NYC fun and frolic! In the meantime, a few links to what I’ve been doing … besides packing my bags!
- If you haven’t as yet checked out the “tagline writing tag team” of James (MenwithPens) and yours truly, see what smart, funny and on-point creative collaboration looks like. Together we got a few Copyblogger fans sporting brand-new taglines and they like ‘em, they really like ‘em!
- The following day, also on Copyblogger, my first post in the new Copywriting Maven Creative Plan Makeover series was launched. If you enjoyed my landing page series, I promise even more thrills, spills and marketing adventures ahead.
And now a call for a little WP help! I just upgraded to WP 2.5 and it went pretty smoothly, but it doesn’t seem to like it when I use the new INSERT MEDIA function. Nice little flash thing and then it sits. Same thing when I try to insert media from my local machine. Blank and dumb screen remains. If you know what the hell I’m talking about … and can help … by all means, do.
If you’re heading to NYC, I can’t wait to meet you! I’ll be the cute older (but adorable) woman with the new lowlights in her freshly coiffed hair.

Hm, no help on the media stuff from me - that’s Harry’s job and I’m clueless.
Tagline teaming was pretty cool, and I’m looking forward to our next matchup. Strong meets ingenious!

@ James - strong meets ingenious … I like it! Don’t miss me too much while I’m away.

Roberta, you and James are a most terrific pair, and I seriously think you could be making some serious $$ doing the same thing through a webinar format or the like.
Of course, the easier route would be for everyone to hire you straight away.
Have a fun weekend.

I couldn’t agree more, Lisa. I’ve already been pointing my coaching clients to that terrific tagline post.
@Roberta- Rats! Wish I could make it to the Social. Id like to meet you and your lowlights.
