My First Baby Turns 16, We’re Celebrating!
By Roberta Rosenberg on May 9, 2008 in Occasional Rantings
Just a quick note, Maven fans. I’m taking my first girl, now sweet 16, off to NYC (what, again?) to celebrate her special milestone and spend some mother-daughter time while she can still stand me.
See ya’ll next week.

Roberta,
What a fabulous idea…my youngest wants to go for her birthday so we can visit the American Girl store.
Hope you have a wonderful time together.
Happy Mothers Day!

@Amrit, Larissa … thanks for the good wishes. We’re having a wonderful time, even if NYC was a monsoon all day and evening. First girl was born a few days before Mom’s Day so in many ways she was my first present!

Wow, sweet 16.
Mine’s 2 and a half and cheeky as ever. I can’t even imagine what she’ll be like when she hits 16.
Ooer! :S
Have a great time in NYC.

@Dina, Sarah - Kidlet and I had a lovely time in NYC. We walked and walked and ate far too much. I’ve spent the last week in a flurry of projects!
