Friday Wrap-Up: What I’ve Been Reading this Week
By Roberta Rosenberg on May 16, 2008 in Occasional Rantings
I’m still playing catch-up from my whirlwind weekend in NYC with #1 girl child, so here’s a sprinkling of the stuff that’s caught my interest in a reading fly-by:
- If you do any sort of SEO copywriting work, this is a tidy list to keep handy: Fifteen places you must put your Keyword Phrase and the why behind it…
- You just can’t read too many stories about teen-speak finding its way into student essays and the like: Language that makes you say OMG … also the author introduces KMN (kill me now) to the online lexicon.
- Last Day to Register! I know I’m super late with this, but if you haven’t already checked out Mike Stelzner’s Marketing White Papers online seminar, now’s the time. One of my copywriting students wrote me having seen the first video and loved it. Maybe you will, too.
Have a great weekend! I’ll be back next week with a few interesting takes on Twitter, among other things.

If I may, I’d like to mention that all week long, I’ve been deconstructing ads from Avis’ classic “We Try Harder” campaign, putting them in the context of the 1960s in which they appeared; they’re light, fun postings.

@Craig – Hi Craig, thanks for joining in. I enjoyed reviewing your series. I remember many of the ads you feature. I was reading them from my playpen

That article on keywords is a fantastic resource, thanks for drawing my attention to it Roberta.
And that smartphone in your pic is lovely. I wouldn’t mind a purple one of them…mmm!
Hope you and your daughter had a great time in NYC.
