I’ve been working since 5:30 am and I haven’t had near enough coffee yet, so of course I found this email subject head intriguing and totally hilarious.

Your pants will be in order all the time.

I don’t know about you, but I worry about this kind of stuff every damn day.

This little missive managed to evade my usually efficient gmail spam filters. The only thing I’ve changed is the name.

She had me at “I saw your structure today.” Flattering? Vaguely dirty? Hard to tell. Here’s hoping someone you care about sees your structure today and sends you a note about “the business of love.”

SPAM JAM: They lost me at “DEFIED”

As a reader, you know how much I enjoy, from time to time, sharing “spam jam” from one of my numerous email addresses. Today’s offering comes directly from The Netherlands. This is a direct quote from the email’s subject head:

YOU HAVE DEFIED THE LAW OF DOWNWARDNESS IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!!!

Problem is I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

What is the “law of downwardness?” Should I have embraced it instead? Is the opposite of downwardness upwardness and does it involve another law I should know about?

I also think Jesus should be Jesus’ (or is the proper usage Jesus’s now?)

Still, on the “gotta read it” meter, this one merits a solid 8.

It’s almost Friday and this week still has a little bit of a lazy feel left. Go ahead and check your spam filters. If you have a great subject head to share, this is the place.
